KyraHosting was a global web hosting and VPS platform I founded from scratch in 2016. I served as both CEO and lead systems engineer — building the technical infrastructure, developing the automation layer, managing client operations, and growing the business to 600+ customers across 30+ countries over seven years.
The platform delivered high-performance VPS hosting, dedicated servers, game servers, and web hosting solutions at competitive price points, enabled by a highly automated infrastructure that kept operational overhead minimal. In 2023, KyraHosting was successfully acquired — with the infrastructure and automation systems I built forming the core of the acquisition value.
At 600+ clients across multiple continents, uptime isn't a feature — it's the business. I built a multi-layer monitoring and alerting system that caught issues before clients noticed them.
Real-time performance tracking and uptime monitoring across all services
Comprehensive system visibility for CPU, RAM, disk, and network across all nodes
Critical services routed automatically to redundant systems on failure detection
Trend analysis to identify degradation before it became client-facing downtime
Running KyraHosting meant wearing both hats — systems engineer and CEO. I handled pricing strategy, client support, partner relationships, financial planning, and marketing alongside all the technical work.
KyraHosting was acquired in 2023. The Linux infrastructure, automation pipelines, and monitoring systems built over 7 years were key assets in the deal.
KyraHosting became a fully automated, globally accessible hosting platform. The technical foundations I built — automation workflows, monitoring systems, containerized infrastructure, and security hardening — were the primary value drivers in the 2023 acquisition. Seven years of running production infrastructure for hundreds of clients gave me a deep, practical understanding of reliability engineering that directly informs every project I take on today.
